Cutters Even
SawBuck Series with 7-3 Win

The Williamsport
Crosscutters evened the SawBuck Series at one game apiece with a 7-3
victory at State College on Tuesday evening.
Cutters starter Rob Roth picked up his 2nd win of the year
allowing two runs and just three hits in seven innings of work.
Williamsport struck in the top of the first as Jesus Villegas reached base
on a throwing error by Spikes third baseman Matthew Hague. Villegas
advanced to second in a Travis d’Arnaud ground out and scored on a ground
ball single to left field by Cody Overbeck.
The Cutters would go on to score four in the third inning and tack on
single runs in the sixth and ninth innings.
Travis d’Arnaud was the offensive star for Williamsport going 3-for-4 with
two RBI. The Crosscutters pounded out eleven hits in game.
The SawBuck Series moves back to Historic Bowman Field on Wednesday in a
