Cutters Watch Late Lead EvaporateD'Arby Myers & Jeremy Hamilton (7) each homered Wednesday night
Lose 4-3 to Cyclones
July 2 -
After leading for the entire game, the Crosscutters let one slip away as the Brooklyn Cyclones put up three runs in the final frame to walk away with the win.

Cutters starting pitcher Michael Stutes pitched a strong game going five innings while yielding three hits and striking out six. Relief pitcher Korey Noles, backed up Stutes well by pitching a solid six and seventh inning, only giving up a hit while striking out three. Pitcher Eryk McConnell, allowed four runs, three earned, in the final two innings while taking the loss.

D’Arby Myers got things started off with a solo shot in the first inning. An error by the Cyclones in the fourth would lead to another Cutters run. In the sixth, 1B Jeremy Hamilton hit his second home run of the season to close out the Cutters closing.

The Crosscutter will look to rebound when they host these same Cyclones here at Historic Bowman Field on Thursday at 7:05. The game can be heard on ESPN 1050.
